We continue studying the Book of Genesis, covering Chapter 36 through the end of Genesis.

 

Throughout the Book of Genesis, God tells His people what He will do. Go through the Book of Genesis and underline all the “I will’s” that God says He will do. Our job is to remain faithful, obedient and trust that He will do what He says.

 

Genesis begins with, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” - something new.  Scripture ends in Revelation Chapter 21 and 22 and tells us of a new heaven and new earth. The old will be replaced with the new. Rev. 21:5; “I am making everything new!”

 

All scripture points to Jesus; He wants to be part of our lives, to believe in Him, trust Him, be obedient to His call on our lives; That He has the last word in world events. Do we really believe scripture, that God is in control, and we can trust Him?
