As Paul answers questions from these new Christians - who are still confused about the way they should behave - there is a great similarity in today’s world and the challenges we face to stay focused on Him. Paul reveals his pain and his joy, his outrage and his suffering, and his love and his convictions. He was called to be God’s apostle. He agonized over the apathy of the new Christians. After he exposed false apostles, he moved on, leaving them to their destiny. Overall, his message is found in the love chapter, 1 Corinthians 13. “The greatest of these is love!”
